Voices from the UK's pulmonary hypertension community

“My friends and I made hundreds of crocheted hearts during the early part of the pandemic. They were made in pairs and taken to the Intensive Care Unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

One of a pair was left with the patient and the other one given to the relatives, so that there was a link between them, especially as the family could not be at the bedside of their dying relative. Hopefully they gave some comfort.”
