Voices from the UK's pulmonary hypertension community

“During the first lockdown, not having access to my printmaking studio, I decided to work from home, making a limited edition print every day for 40 days – as the word ‘quarantine’ means 40 days.

The imagery referred to counting off days, time passing, locks, doors and hinges. I put the prints on social media, offering them for sale, with half the proceeds going to Médecins Sans Frontières, to highlight the fact that there were many millions of people suffering from Covid worldwide. I think the prints raised enough to make it worth doing. This one was probably my favourite – it involved a sardine tin.”
